Broad, Shallow Bowl Ø 60/66 cm H 12 cm — Ø 23.62”/25.98” H 4.72”

Held close to the ground, this broad, shallow bowl extends outward with an almost landscape-like presence. Its gently rising wall follows an irregular outline, while natural openings interrupt the rim and loosen the circular form.

Across the interior, the oak grain unfolds in fluid, concentric movements around knots and subtle shifts in the wood. Fuming enriches these patterns with deep brown and amber tones, enhanced by the soft sheen of the finish. Delicate joints have been subtly inserted to stabilise emerging cracks without concealing them, preserving the natural movement and character of the wood.

The contrast between its generous span and restrained height gives the piece a sense of stillness. Open and sculptural, it draws attention both to the volume it holds and to the expressive edge that defines it.

Fumed oak. Walnut oil. Beeswax.
