Ebonised Bowl. Ø 23 cm H 9 cm — Ø 9.06” H 3.54”

At an intimate scale, this bowl combines a gentle curved wall with a fine, subtly irregular rim. A discreet uplift at the base, a recurring gesture in Moss Studio’s work, allows the body to float just above the surface.

Hollowed to an exceptional thinness, the piece is featherlight in the hand.

The warm brown interior retains the depth and detail created by fuming, while the ebonised exterior forms a deep black shell. Both finishes meet at the slender rim, emphasising the thinness of the wall and creating a refined contrast between warmth and shadow.

Fumed and ebonised oak. Walnut oil. Beeswax.
