LIO.01

This large, ovoid vessel is hand-turned from dead-standing oak — a tree that remained upright in the forest long after its life had passed, quietly surrendered to time and insects. Small boreholes mark the surface — subtle traces of the tree’s final chapter.

Its gently ebonised exterior holds a soft, smoky tone; the interior is finished in deep black, drawing the eye inward.

With refined, thin walls and a grounded form, the vessel carries a sculptural presence.

Ebonised oak. Walnut oil and beeswax.
