LIO.02

Hand-turned from dead-standing oak same as LIO.01, this wide, open form rests on a clean base line, creating a floating presence.

As the wood dried, subtle distortions shaped the vessel into something unmistakably organic. Its profile shifts with every angle: fluid, asymmetrical, always in motion.

A dark knot in the base shows where a branch once grew. Small insect boreholes mark the surface. The oak is gently smoked, deepening its grain and tone. The form wasn’t imposed but discovered—guided by how the wood moved and resisted.   

Smoked oak. Walnut oil and beeswax.
