Turned from a reclaimed offcut of local sawmill oak, this large cylindrical form balances restraint with quiet detail. Fine, lengthwise cracks are handstitched with waxed cotton thread, subtly emphasizing the wood’s natural movement. The exterior is brushed, along its grain, lending a tactile texture that contrasts with the smooth, finely sanded interior. Its sober, contemporary silhouette is gently animated by a slight distortion.

Fumed oak. Walnut oil and beeswax.
