Large floor vessel.

Hand-turned from a solid section of oak,  once discarded from a diseased tree. Over weeks of quiet drying, its form slowly emerged—defined by gentle warping and darkened markings left by fungi. Though substantial in size, the piece carries a surprisingly light presence. A striking split appears at the point where the tree once branched into two trunks—a fissure that, having grown inward over time, has now opened up. The vessel’s undulating surface reflects the tension of three hearts within the wood, each pulling in its own direction. 

Fumed oak. Walnut oil and beeswax.
