Low Sculptural Vessel
Ø 29 cm H 13 cm — Ø 11.42” H 5.12”This vessel rests in a grounded, expansive stance. Broad in proportion, the form extends outward in measured horizontality, supported by a modest foot that gently lifts it from the surface.
Rather than rising vertically, the volume unfolds in quiet layers — a restrained exploration of mass and release. The rim remains subtly irregular, responsive to the inner tensions of the wood.
The fumed oak reveals nuanced tonal shifts across the grain, from warm highlights to deeper umber shadows. The surface carries a soft tactility — composed, deliberate, and calm — a held breadth, as if the wood settled into its own equilibrium.
In dialogue with Mo.01, this piece explores the same emerging formal language in a lower register — less ascendant, more anchored; an expansion contained within itself.
Fumed oak. Walnut oil. Beeswax.
