Low Vessel

Hand-turned from oak , this low vessel rests close to the ground, defined by proportion and quiet restraint. The wall rises almost vertically before gently softening toward the rim.

A detail of sapwood is visible, its lighter tone subtly interrupting the continuity of the surface. A knot and traces of scar tissue create a slight deformation at the rim — not imposed, but grown — giving the silhouette a quiet tension.

The grain runs in concentric lines around the form, marking time in fine rhythm. Evenly fumed and finished with natural oil, the surface is smooth, warm, and inviting to the touch.
