The piece developed visible tension during turning, as the wood began to move and dry at once — shaping a form both disciplined and unpredictable. The surface was brushed, leaving a vertical texture that enhances its sculptural presence. Cracks at the rim and base reveal the speed of its drying, the base held with dovetail joints that preserve its structure through controlled restraint. Rich hues and hardened scars mark the wood, giving the vessel a rougher, more instinctive character — distinct within the series yet deeply rooted in its material origin.
