This form widens gently upward from a narrow base, resting lightly on the surface with a floating ease. Its proportions are simple and open, defined by thin walls and a precise, even rim. The pale wood catches light softly, giving the piece a quiet luminosity.
Hand-turned from ginkgo biloba, taken from a diseased tree in a private estate garden, it belongs to a series of four vessels (OBE.11–OBE.14) exploring the same fragile, paper-like quality in varied forms.
