Tapered cylindrical vessel

Thinly turned from local oak, once set aside as offcut at a nearby sawmill. Its form rises with quiet restraint, narrowing inward toward the rim. The surface carries a vertical texture that evokes the delicacy of folded paper—fragile in appearance yet born from solid timber. Soft, unsaturated tones shift across the vessel, where a touch of sapwood adds contrast and nuance. Light in weight, understated in presence, it holds a sculptural calm.
