Elevated cylinder

Turned from oak, sourced as an offcut from a local sawmill. Its form sits low and grounded, yet lightly raised on a subtle foot, giving the vessel a quiet sense of lightness. The rim is gently irregular, shaped by organic movement during drying. Soft notes of sapwood and muted tonal shifts enrich the surface, where subtle branch details reveal the tree’s history. Finely sanded, smoked to deepen its tone, the vessel feels warm, tactile, and understated.
